Coronavirus update

In view of the latest updates on the current pandemic and in line with the government’s recommendation to avoid social gatherings, The Dulwich Players has decided to put its social events on hold.

This effectively means that our Skill Day originally planned on the 25th April will be rescheduled at a later date and that there will be no physical social readings until further notice. The Dulwich Players committee is currently discussing alternatives, such as virtual social readings. Please watch this space for future updates.

This is an unprecedented scenario that forces us to temporarily close our activities for the first time in our fifty year history. While this is a very tough decision for us, we believe it is the right one to ensure the health and wellbeing of both our members and our audience. Please find further guidance from the NHS here.

Wednesday Social Reading

Social Readings are open to members of the Dulwich Players and recent enquirers about the Players,

unless otherwise noted.

Social Readings are organised periodically and take place at 8pm.

Dulwich Players Skill Day

We will be holding a Skills Day on Saturday 25th April 2020 at the Edward Alleyn Theatre, Dulwich College. There will be practical demonstrations and talks about the non-acting aspects of staging a production. Further details will be sent out in the new year.
