A leading Amateur Theatre Group based in Dulwich Village, London. SE21.
Drawing membership and support from a wide area in South London.

Founded in 1969 following the amalgamation of The Dulwich Dramatic Society and The Village Players,
this active and thriving theatre group has over 100 members performing a very varied programme of
and drama from Ayckbourne to Chekhov.
Musicals, Revues and Pantomimes add to the great variety of their productions.

The Dulwich Players perform at the Edward Alleyn Theatre in Dulwich College
and at various other venues that include their regular open-air performances
in the gardens of Dulwich Picture Gallery

Membership of the group allows you to access to a range of roles, including acting, back stage or front of house.
You may find the lead actor from one show behind the bar at the next (or vice versa).

We are participating in the Royal Shakespeare Company's "Open Stages" project;
both "Will's Women" (May 2011) and "Pericles" (July 2012) are
produced in association with the project.
